Alice Hughes – Off the radar?
After winning the Mighty Mini Championship in 2017, Alice may have seemed to be a tad off the radar. She has been working hard behind the scenes setting up a business. Whilst one passion of hers is Motorsport, she also has a strong passion for Social Media Marketing.
“I completed an apprenticeship in Social Media for Business in March and it’s always been a dream of mine to have my own company and to be my own boss.”
Alice spent 2017 not only racing her Mighty Mini, but also working at a Harrogate based agency providing services in lead generation and social media management. With the skills she learnt on her course, at the agency and with the real life experience of managing her own social media accounts, The Social Marketing Hub was launched.
“With 4 in 10 small businesses not making it passed the 5 year mark, I decided that a year out of the driving seat was in my best interest to fully commit to making a success of my new business.”
To some people, social media marketing is the “next big thing”, a fad that must be taken advantage of while it’s still in the spotlight. To others, it’s a “fashion” with no practical advantages and a steep, complicated learning curve.
Being a young entrepreneur, Alice’s youthfulness is one of The Social Marketing Hub’s core values, allowing her clients businesses to remain current and up to date with all of the latest Social Media trends.
